The World Health Organization estimates 70 million people worldwide are in need of wheelchairs. By developing a simple, cost-effective and highly functional wheelchair designed with locally-available resources in mind, FWM can lift someone off the ground for $80, empowering individuals with mobility, dignity, and independence. We're involved through prayer, financial support (including an annual matching-grant campaign in October), and trips to assemble and distribute wheelchairs.
