Early Childhood Education Center

At First Presbyterian Early Childhood Education Center, we provide a play-based, developmentally appropriate learning environment for children ages six months through four years old, by September 1st.  

Our school year runs from September through mid-May, and we believe that play is the hard work of childhood—a vital part of how children learn and grow. 

Our dedicated staff is passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences in a loving, caring Christian environment. We are proud to support each child’s growth through intentional play and nurturing guidance.

Two Day Program

Tuesday and Thursday

Tuition: $270.00 per child per month  
Supply Fee: $50.00 per child per semester  
Ages Served: 6 months-3 years by Sept. 1st of current school year  
School Day: 9:00 to 2:00

Three Day Program

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday

Tuition: $400.00 per child per month
 Supply Fee: $75.00 per child per semester
 Ages Served: 2-4 years old by Sept. 1st of current school year
 School Day: 9:00 to 2:00

2-Day Program: $270/month per child  
3-Day Program: $400/month per child 


Payment Method 

All tuition payments are made via ACH (automatic bank draft) from a provided account. You may choose one of the following payment options:  

  • One-time full payment for the year  
  • Two payments (by semester)  
  • Monthly payments 

A new ACH form must be submitted each school year for continuing students.  A schedule for ACH withdrawals is available in our Parent Handbook.

Supply Fees 

Fees are charged per child each semester, in September and January:  

  • 2-Day Program: $50 per semester
  • 3-Day Program: $75 per semester 

Supply fees will be drafted automatically from the account on file:  

  • For monthly and semester payments: drafted at the beginning of each semester
  • For annual payments: both fees will be drafted in September 

Registration Fee: $125 per child (non-refundable, paid online at time of registration)

Refund Policy 

If you withdraw your child before May 1, 2025, May 2026 tuition will be refunded. Refund requests must be made in writing to the ECEC director, Olivia Ortiz, at oortiz@fpcmid.org.


Waitlist & Registration Timeline  

  • Online waitlist registration is available for the 2025–2026 school year.  
  • Families who register during open registration (January–early February) will have their applications reviewed beginning February 1. Please note that placement is not guaranteed.  
  • Notifications regarding placement or waitlist status will be sent to families the first week of March.   

Upon acceptance, all registration documents must be submitted by the assigned due date to secure placement.  

Note: Per Texas state licensing requirements, we cannot accept incomplete registration packets.

Lead Teacher Positions

First Presbyterian Early Childhood Education Center is currently hiring certified or highly experienced teachers for the upcoming school year. Lead teachers are responsible for planning and leading class activities in a loving, Christian environment that supports early childhood development.  

Assistant Teacher Positions  

We are also hiring assistant teachers to support classroom instruction from nursery through Pre-K. Assistant teachers work alongside lead teachers to help carry out daily classroom duties and provide a nurturing, safe space for our students.
