You can jump in a class or Sermon Based small group at any point. Give one a try and discover how God is shaping your Spiritual development.
Walk with me and work with me – watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. - Jesus
(Matthew 11:29, from The Message)
Whether or not we are aware of it, we have rhythms of everyday life – sleeping, eating, going to work, going home, exercising, family time and so on. Most of us are not very good at being intentional about the “rhythms of grace” necessary to our life with God. We believe that following Jesus will make your life better and make you better at life. For six weeks we’ll explore some of the rhythms, practices, and disciplines that become essential to our daily life with Christ. Each person will have opportunity to build a unique design for entering “the unforced rhythms of grace.”
The Upper Room 216
If you are dating, engaged, recently married, or married for 50 years join other couples as we uncover ways that we can deepen relationships as spouses and followers of Jesus. We invite you to discover ways to grow in this safe environment without the fear of having to pass or fail. Jump into this group and have fun reconnecting with the one you love. This 6 week class includes an assessment that costs $35 per couple.
Here at First Presbyterian, we believe small groups are the best way to create lasting connections and opportunities to grow your faith in Jesus Christ. Because of this we highly encourage every member and guest to engage in one of these groups.
The Groups are made up of 8-14 people who meet weekly to discuss the previous week’s sermon and Bible verses, to support one another, and to deepen your faith. A trained leader will facilitate each group.
What is the required commitment?
Joining a group requires a commitment to attend weekly meetings. This commitment is the key to a strong group. Feel free to take the first three weeks to attend a group and make sure it’s a good fit for you. We realize that things come up that may cause you to miss a meeting, so please don’t let that prevent you from joining a group.
How do I sign up for a group?
Joining a small group is easy! Just let us know you are interested, or you can indicate your interest directly to one of our group leaders.

DivorceCare for Kids

DC4K (DivorceCare for Kids) is a program for children ages 5-12 who are hurting and confused about the divorce of their parents. It complements the DivorceCare program for parents held at the same time. Weekly topics parallel those of the parent class are presented through music, games, videos, activity books, read aloud storybooks, and age appropriate discussions.
