No one is meant to walk through life alone. We need each other.
Stephen Ministry pairs trained, caring brothers and sisters in Christ with those who are looking for someone to walk through life with. They are especially ready to come alongside you when you need care most– in grief, addiction, depression, anxiety, illness, and more.
Our goal as a church is to engage every person and help them recognize and respond to Christ’s call on their lives. We know, however, that there are seasons of life when that can be overwhelming– grief, addiction, depression, anxiety, illness– and it’s our privilege as Stephen Ministers to come alongside you during those times so we can pursue God together.
Who are our Stephen Ministers?
Stephen Ministers are caring brothers and sisters in Christ from First Presbyterian. They’re companions for your Christian walk- ready to listen and, with humility, help you sort through the season you’re in. Each Stephen Minister is trained in pastoral care as well as confidentiality, the cornerstones of healthy spiritual care.
